The Hopewell Premiere of “Show Up, Kids!”

There’s something for everyone to enjoy at Hopewell Theater and that includes our younger audiences! We pride ourselves on hosting Crybaby and Family Matinees for films, and also special events like children’s theatre and live music performances as well. We’re adding family friendly improv to that list!

Peter Michael Marino, a NYC performer, educator, and director, has developed “Show Up, Kids!” which has received rave reviews from several publications such as Time Out New York and the Edinburgh Reporter. Having just completed a stint at the Kraine Theatre in NYC, it was recently a New York Times Critic’s Choice Pick and featured on a list of “Things to Do With Your Kids in N.Y.C.”.

The premise of the show is quite simple: when the main attraction doesn’t show up, Peter enlists the kids to help create a comedy show from set to sound, plot to props, and even costumes to characters! What could possibly go wrong?! It’s an entirely unique, improvised family show for kids 3-10 years with tons of audience participation that puts a comedic twist on the traditional kids’ show.

You won’t want to miss the Hopewell premiere of Show Up, Kids! at noon on Saturday, April 13 – purchase your tickets here!
