The Felice Brothers and Damien Jurado Coming To HT This May!

While we’re on the subject of discovering new music, Hopewell Theater is excited to announce two upcoming shows that you definitely don’t want to miss! Whether you’ve been a fan of these artists since day one, or just need some new sounds to soothe your soul, we’ve got you covered with special appearances from The Felice Brothers and Damien Jurado.

Hailing from the Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York, The Felice Brothers blend Americana, folk, and revivalist roots rock into a uniquely earthy sound. During the summer of 2018, the band recorded Undress: their most personal and reflective album to date. This album finds the group in a very different place than they were during their last release three years ago. With personnel changes, families growing and the political landscape, the result is a tighter, more-paired down release that takes aim at the public concerns and problems of today. Join The Felice Brothers on May 5th, 2019 for a fun night full of folk tunes!

Early Booking for Members is available now and tickets go on sale for the public on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 12:00 PM EST. Ticket links and additional information can be found here.

If you’re a fan of The Felice Brothers, then chances are you might have heard of this next musician as well. Since the late ’90s, singer/songwriter Damien Jurado has built up one of the strongest catalogs on the indie scene, with songs that have delved into a multitude of genres such as pop, roots rock, electric indie rock, psychedelia, and even found-sound experiments. His latest album, In The Shape Of A Storm, is his sparsest to date and a document spanning 19 years and a life of music. Damien will also be joined by Anna St. Louis, whose debut album If Only There Was A River received critical acclaim for being a lonely record of longing and soul searching for more. Join both of them on May 22nd, 2019!
