This week at Hopewell Theater, we are proud to partner with Princeton Public Library’s Princeton Environmental Film Festival on a free screening of THE WORLD BEFORE YOUR FEET: For over six years, Matt Green has been walking every street in New York City, over 8000 miles, on a journey of discovery, humanity and wonder. Following the screening will be a Q/A with director Jeremy Workman and the film’s subject Matt Green. Saturday at noon, Peter Michael Marino’s critically acclaimed family friendly improv show, “Show Up, Kids!”, makes its Hopewell premiere! When the main attraction doesn’t show up, Pete enlists the kids to help create a comedy show from set to sound, plot to props, and costumes to characters. Saturday night, slow things down for an intimate performance by enigmatic musician and actor, Nellie McKay. Sunday at 11 am, join us for a sumptuous brunch while enjoying the smooth sounds of cellist Dan Kassel. On our screen, we close out GLORIA BELL and MODEST HEROES on Thursday; this weekend, fans of Downton Abbey won’t want to miss THE CHAPERONE, which reunites the writer (Oscar-winner Julian Fellowes), director (Michael Engler) and star (Elizabeth McGovern) of “Downton Abbey” for this immersive and richly emotional period piece. More info and tickets on all programs can be found here.
