This week at Hopewell Theater, we screen four fantastic films and welcome one of the great American singer/songwriters, Chris Smither, to our stage. Tuesday night, journey to the ancient forests of the northern hemisphere, revealing the profound connection that exists between trees and human during CALL OF THE FOREST: THE FORGOTTEN WISDOM OF TREES, a part of our ongoing series, The Art of Living Well. THE LAST WALTZ, the classic Martin Scorsese rock doc showcasing The Band’s final performance, screens Thursday night as part of our series The Films That Made Music. The critically acclaimed action adventure flick starring Mads Mikkelsen, ARCTIC, opens Friday. Don’t miss the family classic, THE GREAT MUPPET CAPER – a Crybaby Matinee screens at 11 am on Thursday and a Family Matinee screens Saturday at 2:30 pm.
