Cozy up to our stage and screen with holiday live shows, films, and more! Our intimate theater is the best place to celebrate the festive season with family, friends, and neighbors.
Begin the festivities with our Holiday Film Fest, starting with SCROOGED, a modern, comedic take on Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” on Dec 20 & 27, starring Bill Murray. On Dec 21 & 28 comes the 2000 live-action adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS, a family-friendly holiday classic starring Jim Carrey as the Grinch. The ultimate romantic comedy, LOVE ACTUALLY, screens Dec 22 & 25, a film with an all-star cast and a dozen characters in an interwoven web of tales. On Dec 26 is everyone’s favorite NATIONAL LAMPOON’S CHRISTMAS VACATION, starring Chevy Chase as the father in a quirky family whose holiday plans go awry. Ending the Holiday Film Fest with two film screenings on Dec 29, The Royal Ballet’s THE NUTCRACKER is a gorgeous stage production of a quintessential Christmas tale.
Films aren’t the only holiday programs we have this year!
Come to this weekend’s family-friendly, danceable Holiday Shows featuring live music by Lambertville’s gypsy jazz group PYRENESIA on Saturday, Dec 21 and New York’s rootsy psychedelica, surreal Americana SLAMBOVIAN CIRCUS OF DREAMS on Sunday, Dec 22. Both performances will have a limited number of jambalaya dinners from The Peasant Grill for sale at concessions, first come first serve. Then, bring in the new year with a live music show on Dec 28 with NRBQ, a rollicking blend of everything from stomping rockabilly to Beatles-influenced pop to Thelonious Monk-inspired jazz.
Finally, on Dec 31 RING IN THE 20’S with our vintage New Year’s Eve party! Featuring live swing music by Philadelphia’s Parlour Noir and an optional three-course dinner by Brick Farm Tavern, this elegant trip back to the 1920’s-40’s includes a free coat check, party favors, cash bar, and a swing dance lesson from a pro. Vintage attire is encouraged! Get a free gift with purchase of two dinner tickets.
Plus, now through January 6, enjoy no ticketing fees on any live music or performance tickets you purchase during HT’s Holiday Sale – buy four you get a discounted individual or dual membership.
