Fall is fast approaching, and we have a selectively eclectic live music lineup! You can sample it with our Fall 2019 Spotify playlist. Use it to decide who you want to see on stage, or just listen to it while you work and do chores! Our Spotify also has the music of bands and artists who have visited in seasons past.
For September, Hopewell native Danielia Cotton starts the month, then WXPN will welcome singer/songwriter Steve Forbert and the New Renditions to our stage, and later, Johnny Irion & Darren Jessee. The “Queen of Austin Soul” Tameca Jones ends the month with her jaw-dropping voice.
We start October with Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble performers Mike Block & Sandeep Das, who use Tabla, cello, and more to put on a beautifully unique show. Then, Princeton native Jonah Tolchin comes to HT with a new album, followed by singer-songwriter-guitarist Toshi Reagon with her love of mixing up genres. Concluding October are the Gibson Brothers, who have already made over a dozen albums.
Finally, in November, slide guitarists Sonny Landreth & Cindy Cashdollar bring country blues and bluegrass to Hopewell. Then, Sierra Hull, Noam Pikelny, & Stuart Duncan come together to deliver a talented, collaborative performance. And ending the season, Chris Harford and his ever evolving band of constantly rotating musicians, Band of Changes, put on Fall’s final show.
With so many talented artists coming our way, it can be hard to decide who you want to see. Use our Spotify playlist to help you choose, or expose yourself to music you haven’t heard before!
