Hopewell Theater to temporarily close for 2 weeks starting March 16

Dear Hopewell Theater patron,

The coronavirus, Co-Vid 19, situation is changing rapidly and each day we are learning more.  Your continued health remains our top priority. In light of the potential spread of the virus and the proven value of preventative planning to contain it, we believe it is best that we suspend our shows and close for the next two weeks, starting Monday, March 16 – Monday, March 30, 2020.  It is with heavy hearts that we make this decision but with confidence that it is for our shared healthy future.

If you have purchased a ticket to one of our shows taking place March 17 – March 29, 2020, we will credit your account for the price of the ticket less taxes and fees.  The credit does not expire and you do not have to call or come into the theater to receive it.  We will email you a copy of the credit, proof it was completed, within the next three business days.  We will also let you know if the show has been rescheduled, as soon as we have word.

To redeem your credit in future, please call our box office to reserve your tickets.  The credit will be held under the name of the person who purchased the original, credited ticket/s.  You will not be charged tax or ticketing fees on your future purchase, provided it is of the same or lesser value of your credit and you call our box office to purchase.

Should you have any questions about this policy or situation, please do not hesitate to contact the box office by phone, 609-466-1964 or email, info@hopewelltheater.com.

As a commitment to the personal and financial health of our hourly front of house staff, all front of house staff will be paid not to work their pre scheduled shifts for the next two weeks.  Our administrative staff will be working from home.

We so value your patronage and look forward to welcoming you to Hopewell Theater when we reopen.  In the meantime, be well, wash your hands, get rest and stay tuned! Together, we will get through this.

Warmest Regards,

Sara Scully
