Greetings!
We miss our patrons. We miss bringing you together at our emerging theater. We miss the incredible artists and filmmakers who brought selectively eclectic shows to our stage and screen.
The Governor is now allowing venues like ours the opportunity to reopen at 25% capacity, which you can read more about here. For us that would mean 64 people per show. Given how much we’ve lost and how much we miss you, it is really tempting to reopen. But after considerable thought, it’s clear to us that reopening with these restrictions will not enable us to restore our operations, and to treat you, our valued patron, to the experience you’ve come to expect at HT.
We are using this time to consider how we can adapt and evolve during the pandemic, exploring ways we can sustainably present artists at present capacity. We continue to be inspired by artists and our fellow arts presenters that are innovating to reach fans in new ways.
We will be in touch as circumstances change. Until then, we wish you and your family well.
Warm Regards,
Sara Scully
