November Events at Hopewell Theater

Here’s what’s in store at Hopewell Theater this November:

Rhett Miller – Sunday, November 6

Texas native Rhett Miller is perhaps best known as the frontman of the Dallas-based alt-country band the Old 97’s, although he has also pursued a critically acclaimed solo career.

Formed in 1993, the Old 97’s built a devoted following with their brash blend of country and power pop influences, making a splash with 1995’s Wreck Your Life, which won the group a brief stay on the roster of Elektra Records, a period kicked off with one of their finest hours, 1997’s Too Far to Care.

A multi-faceted musician, producer and songwriter, Glabicki’s duo tour dates feature many Rusted Roots hits, stories, and songs yet to be released.

Salami’s East Coast Comedy Presents Gemini & Friends – Friday, November 25

Comedian, ventriloquist, and magician John “Gemini” Lombardi is a high energy, fast-paced visual comedian with a quick-hit sense of humor who does fun-loving standup of relationships, marriages, and everyday life.

Gemini is armed with a slew of hysterical puppets that are all artistically made after actual people, some that Gemini had just met or hung out with, even some from his crazy Italian family.

Performing with Gemini at this family friendly show are “Jersey Boy” Steve Trevelise of 101.5 FM Radio and New York City’s talented Lana Siebel.
